NTGO News Comes to You!

NTGO is now offering a new feature at our website: RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds. If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a popular web service that allows organizations to "get the word out" by distributing summaries of recent news and articles posted on their website. Users subscribe to RSS feeds using news aggregators and web browsers such as Outlook, Internet Explorer, Firefox, NewzCrawler, FeedDemon, etc. Rather than visiting our website regularly for news, the news comes directly to you!

We currently have two RSS feeds: "NTGO News" and "NTGO Recently Released Publications". News items originate from our news web page whereas recent publications come from Gateway (all new publications added within the last 90 days).

To subscribe to our feeds, click on the RSS links at the bottom of our home page at www.nwtgeoscience.ca and follow the subscribe prompts. You'll notice that we now also display a window on our home page which shows the six most recent news items at NTGO.

More detailed information about RSS can be found on Wikipedia at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS.
