Support for NWT Mineral Exploration

Rock hammer and sulphide mineralizationThe Mining Incentive Program (MIP) provides funding to prospectors and exploration companies who propose new exploration projects or are already carrying out NWT mineral exploration work. The total MIP budget is $1.5 million, and all levels of exploration, from grassroots to advanced, are eligible for funding. 

Application Deadline

Novus Gold exploration camp - Izok Lake area. Credit NTGSFunding is available under the Prospector Mining Incentive Program and the Corporate Mining Incentive Program. The 2023-2024 application deadline for both programs is April 28, 2023. Eligible expenses are those incurred during the period April 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024.

 

Prospector Mining Incentive Program

Corporate Mining Incentive Program
