The NWT Mineral Exploration Overview is an annual review of mineral exploration and resource development in the Northwest Territories. The report is written by Geologists employed by the Government of Northwest Territories at the Northwest Territories Geological Survey. Annually, a preliminary presentation is presented in November at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum, a summary overview report is provided in January, followed by a full overview report later in the year.

Play Summaries

The Northwest Territories Geological Survey (NTGS) has a new publication series titled “Petroleum Play Summaries”. Petroleum Play Summaries are short papers designed to efficiently convey key information about significant prospective hydrocarbon trends in the Northwest Territories (NWT).
